PAR Course dates released!

The dates for the much acclaimed PAR Excellence Course have now been released, the course will be ran on the 12th - 13th November 2016 and this year will take place at the brand new Yorkshire Heart Centre Wetlab at Leeds General Infirmary.

As always the course fee will be £250 and the course tutors are David J. O’Regan, Ashok Cherian, Rex Stanbridge and Sotiris Papaspyros.

The course aims to develop your practical skills needed to perform anastomoses, and to create a personal skill training framework to enable focussed and deliberate practice outside the clinical environment by using a range of analogues that can be produced at home.

Each delegate receives their own set of instruments as part of the package.

Learn the basic principles of using just the dominant hand and its application to the bottom end anastomosis.

Friendly faculty and intensive learning to master needle control and ergonometry.

Aimed at ST1 - ST3 trainees.

Following the huge popularity and success of the PAR Course we are also proud to announce the brand new Par Aortic Course will be making it's debut this year on the 10th June 2016, tutored by David J. O’Regan and Betsy Evans.

This course is free of charge but places are very limited!
