This year's SCTS Annual Meeting at the ICC Wales in Newport, we were once again invited to help facilitate and run the NAHP University Day on the Sunday morning and afternoon, 

The sessions were designed to highlight key elements in a cardiothoracic surgery with a mix of Wet Lab, Dry Lab, Virtual Reality and case study/interactive talks.

Wetlab workshops included Aortic valve replacement, aortic dissection, mitral valve, coronary bypass, wedge resection, tracheostomy and chest drain.

With Drylab sessions highlighting open sternotomy, laparoscopic skills and much more.

Many thanks to all of the team behind the scenes at SCTS that make the event run smoothly.

It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces at the Wetlab and to meet new ones.
