In November we ran the highly revered PAR Aorta Course 2022, this was once again hosted at the Surgical Skills Centre in Hull.

Course Director David O'Regan along with faculty Sotiris Papaspyros, Mahmoud Loubani, Mubrak Chaudrey et al. taught a huge range of tips, tricks and techniques around aortic surgery over the two day course. Very much like the flagship PAR Excellence Course, the PAR aorta reinforces the importance of good needle control in surgery.

Delegates got plenty of time in the Wet Lab room with chance to practice on pig hearts and our dry lab Aortic skills Simulators and with the kind support of Artivion, delegates were able to implant aortic valves into their own specimens.

Once again the course had fantastic feedback with 5/5 being scored across the board.
