We were at the Manchester conference centre this year once again sponsoring the impressive ASiT meeting, this year's meeting attracted over 700 young surgeons in training!

On the Friday with the sponsorship of Sorin Group UK and Covidien we ran a preconference course named 'Cardiac surgery: WetLab Introduction to Cardiopulmonary Bypass and Myocardial Revascularisation' with Mr Mike Lewis, Mr Alex Shipolini, Mr Venkateswaran, Mr Paul Modi, Mr Mick Murphy, Mr Kamran Baig and Mr David McCormack.

On the Saturday and Sunday we had a stand at the exhibition centre where Mr David O'Regan joined the Wetlab Ltd team to provide our 'PAR Course' to the meeting, we ran competitions and hands on sessions where the young trainees could really get a feel for Cardiothoracic surgery and how easy it is for them to train at home with ordinary household items.
